Almost a month of absence.
I'm really sorry for being so lazy in updating my blog. A lot has happened these past month and most of them are un-bloggable. I just don't have the patience to sort and sift through all of them.
I finally bought the djembe I have been eyeing. Yup, it weighs a little less than a ton, but it's so solid it's likely to break some kneecaps in buses and jeepneys. I asked Iking if he could teach me how to drive. Unfortunately, masteral studies are getting in the way.
So I carry my djembe around town in an army rucksack.
Took a total of 1.5 days of sick leave, from yesterday until this morning. I have a cold but the worst is over, I think. So I was able to spend some quality time with my instruments. My left wrist is aching a bit from doing those heel-tip strikes. I hope my hands get used to it soon. It seems that I'm going to be using that heel-tip more often.
I finally got myself a NASB. At 400 php it's a good bargain.
The foremost question in my mind right now is: SHOULD I BUY THOSE CONGAS ON SALE AT JB?
Decisions... decisions...
***********************************
Okay, someone used the artistmonk's nick and called me a poseur.
I quick introspection reveals that I'm unperturbed.
Although, I am annoyed by the fact that this hoodlum dared to accuse me of duplicity while hiding behind another's identity.
Now who's posing?
